Hey guys, Kevin here at etrailer and today will be showing you how to install the Curt Sway control kit here on our 2011 Forest River R-Pod Travel Trailer. If you have a vehicle or a trailer hitch that is not rated for use with weight distribution hitches then your options for sway control can get pretty limited. The big one being electronic sway control which is going to hook into your vehicle's 7-way and then also it's going to wire back to your brakes so that it can activate the brakes independently. That way it will kind of eat up that sway and make it nice and stable for you while you're going down the highway. Or the more cheaper option for it, that's a little bit more cost effective is going to be going with a friction sway control bar like we have here today with our Curt. Friction sway control bar is basically gonna be two pieces. more
